About Centuro Global
In September 2025, armed federal agents raided a Hyundai electric vehicle plant in Georgia and detained 475 workers who did not have the correct work authorisation. Construction halted overnight, South Korea chartered a plane to fly its nationals home, and the incident triggered a diplomatic crisis between two allied governments. This is what happens when global workforce compliance fails. Yet for most companies, the systems meant to prevent it still rely on spreadsheets, fragmented providers, and reactive guesswork.
Centuro Global was founded in 2019 by Zain Ali and Asma Bashir. Asma previously built and sold Newland Chase, one of the largest corporate immigration firms in the world, to CIBT. That experience exposed a fundamental flaw in how the industry operates.
Immigration, business travel, and entity compliance are treated as separate workflows by separate providers, but compliance decisions in each domain depend on data from the others. A business trip can trigger tax residency obligations. A visa status change can invalidate a travel itinerary. An entity setup alters what work authorisation is required in-country. Nobody was connecting these data points, because nobody held them in a single system. Centuro was built to connect them.
That connected dataset enables Centuro’s AI to do more than automate tasks within one domain. It correlates data across all three and proactively flags where activity in one creates exposure in another. Every case processed enriches the dataset further, creating a compounding intelligence moat that siloed providers cannot replicate.
Salesforce, managing over 50,000 business trips per year across Brazil, the US, and Canada, adopted Centuro to replace a compliance process fragmented across emails and manual checklists. McDermott, operating in complex jurisdictions across the Middle East and Africa, reduced compliance administration by 70% using the platform. Aggreko runs 485 immigration cases across 25+ entities globally through Centuro, catching compliance exposures that its previous processes missed entirely.
The platform has won three major industry awards: the FEM EMEA Award 2025 for Most Innovative Global Mobility Technology, the inaugural GBTA VentureConnect Europe Award in Hamburg, and the FEM Americas Award 2026 for Best Business Travel Management Solution.
Cross-border compliance has always been manual, reactive, and fragmented. Centuro is proving that AI can change that model fundamentally, making compliance proactive, continuous, and scalable in ways that human-only delivery cannot match.
As regulation tightens and global mobility accelerates, the companies that embrace technology will scale. Those that don’t will be caught out by risk they never saw coming.
