A post on the zoo’s Facebook page read: “We wanted to wish a very happy birthday to one of our François’ langurs, Linh.

“Linh was born in the Belfast Zoo two years ago, and we are delighted to celebrate another year together.

“She was exceptionally pleased to get a special birthday treat today consisting of fresh salad, nutritious nuts and raisins.

“If you look closely at the photo – you will be able to see her tightly clutching on one of them.

“We like to think it’s because she enjoyed them. You can see Linh and her François’ langur friends all week, 10am-4pm.”
