A number of significant recoveries have taken place between January and December this year, including multiple high-value cannabis cultivations.
More than £24million worth of drugs was recovered in December alone – including one of the largest busts of cocaine, worth more than £8million, when officers executed a warrant in Bellshill on Thursday, 11 December.
The largest cultivation found in Scotland to date was in Kirkcaldy in June, when plants with an estimated value of £12million were seized.

Four people were arrested following an operation in West Lothian in February, where around £1million worth of cocaine was recovered.
Just under 2,000 cannabis plants, with an estimated street value of £3.2million were seized from a warehouse in Cowdenbeath in June.
In August, officers confirmed there had been more than 20 arrests and heroin and cocaine valued at over £1.3million were recovered, as part of an ongoing operation to target serious and organised crime in Aberdeen.
£1million worth of cannabis was also recovered in Aberdeen in March following the execution of warrants in the area.
Five men, aged between 17 and 50, were arrested and charged in June, following the recovery of more than £1.3million worth of cannabis in Greenock.
Arrests have also been made in connection with many of the year’s seizures, and enquiries remain ongoing into the other cases.
