Police have thanked the public for their help
Police have confirmed an earlier missing person has been located safe and well. An urgent alert was issued on Tuesday, December 30, for 85-year-old John Burnim, who was last seen in the Crumlin Road area of North Belfast at around 9am this morning.
Issuing an appeal to the public, police said he was believed to be wearing a grey jumper, dress trousers, and combat boots.
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed later on Tuesday afternoon that John had been located. They said: “Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in relation to the missing person, 85-year-old John Burnim.
“He has been located safe and well.”
