People are invited to gather at Danes Drive Park, next to Kingsway Flats, at 3pm, to pay their respects to Amen Teklay who passed away on Wednesday, March 5.

Emergency services were called to Clarendon Street in Maryhill at around 10.30pm following a report of a person being found seriously injured.
Sadly, Amen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Scotland have confirmed that two teenagers have been arrested and one has been charged in connection with Amen’s death.
Friends of Amen have organised the vigil today and are urging anyone who wants to pay their respects to attend.
Tributes have been pouring in for the “funny and bright” 15-year-old who was a “role model” for others.
