Burger King has shut its venue on St George’s Road, just off Sauchiehall Street, in the city centre.
The restaurant was located next to Driftwood Bar on the street.
According to Burger King’s website, the eatery is ‘closed’, while Google claims it is ‘temporarily closed’.

In an image captured by the Glasgow Times, the brand’s signage and logos can be seen missing from the front of the store.
On top of that, TSA Property Consultants Ltd has listed the Burger King unit, on 8 – 10 St George’s Cross, on Rightmove for lease.
Pictures on the property buying website show the inside of the takeaway has also been stripped out.

TSA Property Consultants are looking for a potential tenant to take over the premises, however, it will cost them £2,917 per calendar month.
We reported how the Burger King restaurant only opened on St George’s Cross in March 2023.
It is unknown why the fast-food giant has shut down its store, however, we have contacted them for comment.
