Electrical fault thought to have started house blaze in Wayfield, Chatham

An electrical fault is thought to have started a house fire which prompted an emergency response.

Fire crews were called to a property in Wayfield, Chatham, shortly after 6pm.

Two fire engines attended the scene where crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze using dry powder.

No injuries were reported, and crews left the scene at 6.49pm.
