Emergency services received a report of a body in the sea at Shoreham Harbour at around 1.30pm yesterday. A police helicopter, coastguard teams, and Shoreham RNLI searched for the missing person. Secamb was also in attendance. Sussex Police confirmed that a body was recovered later in the afternoon. The force said the person’s next of kin had been informed.
