Lewes Crown Court heard how Jamil Wilson assaulted the 27-year-old at a property in Brighton for hours. The man, who was known to Wilson, suffered a bleed on the brain. It was heard another resident of the property in Chelwood Close arrived home and on seeing the man’s injuries attempted to call an ambulance.
