A century old idea from Erwin Schrödinger has taken a major step forward, thanks to new research into how humans perceive differences between colors. A team led by Los Alamos scientist Roxana Bujack used geometry to build a mathematical definition of color perception based on hue, saturation, and lightness. The A259 was closed yesterday (May 7) in both directions between the A27 Westham and the B2182 near Bexhill after a serious collision. The road remained closed for multiple hours while investigation works were carried out. NASA has completed the investigation into the damage sustained last year at its 70-meter radio-frequency antenna, known as the Deep Space Station 14 (DSS-14), at the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex near Barstow, California. The agency has classified the event as a Type A mishap based on the total cost of damages.
