A259 near Bexhill reopened following serious collision

The A259 was closed yesterday (May 7) in both directions between the A27 Westham and the B2182 near Bexhill after a serious collision.

The road remained closed for multiple hours while investigation works were carried out.

Images from the scene show police taking photographs and a motorbike which had mounted the pavement.

The road has since reopened in both directions.

Sussex Police have been approached for more information.
