At around 12.40pm this afternoon, May 16, police responded to reports of a man with a bladed weapon in Third Avenue, Bexhill. Shortly after, the man was detained in Ravenside Retail and Leisure Park in De La Warr Road. Police said a distraction device was deployed to enable officers to arrest the man.
