A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is on trial at Hove Crown Court charged with the murder of Joshua Ingram, who was fatally stabbed at Seaford railway station, on September 10, 2025.
He has pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of manslaughter.
He is also accused, along with two youths aged 17 and 15, of conspiracy to cause GBH with intent.
The 15-year-old is also on trial charged with assisting an offender, which the 17-year-old has pleaded guilty to.

Video footage shows the defendant accompanied by a friend, who is unconnected to the offence, in Seaford town centre.
The defendant sees Josh and runs across the road towards him.
In the video, Josh is seen in a black hoody with a friend before the defendant runs up behind him. Also captured on film is another passer-by.
Josh is then attacked on the platform at Seaford railway station.
Following the attack, the defendant is seen running away through the town centre.
He is then seen on doorbell footage dropping a bag containing the knife and clothing following the attack to the 17-year-old defendant who has pleaded guilty to assisting an offender.
