The appeal follows the overnight theft from the Downe-based farm between June 22 and 23.

The animals, still dependent on their mothers, are believed to have been taken during the night.

Paul, the farm manager, said: “It happened sometime in the middle of the night.

“We left last night and came back this morning as the mums [goats] were going mad.”

Despite reviewing CCTV footage, farm staff have found no leads.

Christmas Tree Farm, located on Cudham Road, is a cherished community attraction that has provided memories for generations of families.

In response to the incident, care provider Excelcare has launched a JustGiving page to raise £750 in support.

A spokesperson for Excelcare said: “At Excelcare, we are proud to be part of the Bromley community through our Support Office and local care homes, including Park Avenue and Peartree.

“Over the years, many of our residents, colleagues and their families have visited the Christmas Tree Farm with children and grandchildren, creating treasured memories and enjoying time spent with the animals.

“We were deeply saddened to learn that the farm is facing significant challenges, including the recent theft of seven baby goats.

“This heart-breaking incident comes at a time when the farm is already experiencing financial difficulties, making community support more important than ever.

“Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help support the farm, its animals and its future.

“We also hope that by raising awareness, this appeal may help encourage the safe return of the missing goats.

“Christmas Tree Farm has given so much to our community over the years.

“Now, we have an opportunity to give something back.”

The farm has previously been the target of theft.

Around 10 years ago, a cat was reportedly stolen from the property.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Enquiries are ongoing into a reported theft at a farm on Cudham Road, Bromley.

“The incident happened overnight between Monday, 22 June and Tuesday, 23 June with a number of kid goats reportedly stolen.

“No arrests have been made at this early stage and enquiries continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 01/7724892/26.”

The loss has devastated the farm community, with residents and locals sharing concerns and looking out for suspicious activity.

Support continues to pour in from the wider Bromley community.
