Drivers have faced lengthy delays this evening following three crashes on two coastbound A-roads.
On the A2 coastbound near Bean, two lanes were closed with congestion back to the M25 following reports of a Tesla colliding with a van just before 6pm.

An ambulance was spotted on traffic cameras arriving at the scene.
The route has since reopened, though delays back to the Dartford Heath junction remain.
Just after 5pm, Kent County Council Highways shared news of an incident on the A299 Thanet Way, with the eastbound carriageway affected between the Whitstable and Herne Bay exits.
It said: “Emergency services are en route; please use caution on the approach and expect delays.”

Traffic monitoring system Inrix is also reporting a separate crash and queuing traffic due to an accident on the A299 near Highstreet Road, Dargate.
It is understood these incidents are separate despite their close proximity, but both have since been cleared.
Police have been contacted for comment.
More as we have it.
