Traffic has cleared following long delays after a motorway junction was shut this evening.
The M2 London-bound entry slip at Junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester was blocked just before 6pm with reports of an obstruction in the road.

Congestion had been affecting Blue Bell Hill with lengthy queues on the northbound A229 approaching the Lord Lees Roundabout, and the London-bound exit of the motorway.
Kent County Council Highways said: “There is slow-moving traffic on the A229 Blue Bell Hill northbound due to the closure of the M2 London-bound entry slip at the M2 J3 Taddington Roundabout, expect long delays.”
The obstruction had been removed by 7pm and the slip-road reopened.
Police have been contacted for comment.
