We reported earlier today that TRNSMT’s “secret sets” venue, The Hangout, is also set to return this year with a mix of live music, comedy, games and DJ sets, following past surprise performances from acts including Amy Macdonald and Travis.

Last year, Amy MacDonald appeared on the tiny stage surrounded by hundreds of fans who were bursting out of the space. She sung tunes like Mr Rock & Roll and This Is The Life.

The first year of the venue saw a set from Travis, who we reported as playing anthem after anthem including Flowers in the Window and Turn to perfection.

He told the excited crowd: “Wow, you’re really amazing. Thanks so much for singing along. F***ing brilliant.”
