The win, which occurred on a typical day, felt surreal to Jamie, who initially suspected a prank.
He said the prize was “life-changing,” enabling his family to move into a larger home sooner than planned and enjoy more time together, including a trip across Eastern Europe.
Jamie admitted he never considered himself particularly lucky, making the win even more impactful for the family.
