Andrew Malins, who has been picking up litter in Newick for 10 years, discovered the bottles along an 80-metre section of Newick Lane up to the 30mph sign entering Mayfield on March 24.
He said he found 18 vodka bottles dumped there – near to the spot where he collected 19 others just months earlier.

Mr Malins said: “On the 12th of November I posted the result of my litter pick at the Mayfield end of Newick Lane, which was 19 Vodka bottles.
“A little more than four months on and I find a further 18 bottles in exactly the same spot.”
Saying he “didn’t pass judgement” on the person discarding the bottles, he urged them to “get help”, expressing concern that the person could be drinking and driving.
Mr Malins said: “If you read this and know who it is, you need to get them help.”
He explained that he litter picks because he cares about the environment and cannot stand to see the area “polluted by litter louts.”
Residents joined Mr Malins in voicing their frustration on the Facebook post, with one woman noting the broader impact on the countryside.
She said: “That is my field on the right of this picture and I am utterly fed up with the volume of discarded vapes, plastic bags, sandwich and sweet wrappers etc that I collect on the fields.
“These pose a real danger to grazing animals.”
Residents expressed sympathy for the person responsible for leaving the bottles, with one woman describing it as an “awful” and “sad” situation.
Another woman thanked Mr Malins for his efforts and raised concerns about road safety, pointing out the potential danger posed by drunk driving.
She said: “If this person is driving then God help everyone else!”
Mr Malins said the haul of bottles in November were “randomly discarded on the other side of the road, mainly in the wooded section”.
When Malins discovered the bottles in November, he said on Facebook that he was “absolutely appalled”.
