Data from the School Guide, an independent website that assesses UK schools using official government performance data, Ofsted reports and parent feedback, revealed the borough’s top‑performing primary schools.

Bromley’s top ten schools, all academies, cater to both boys and girls, with scores ranging between 92 per cent being the highest and 68 per cent.

Findings ranked La Fontaine Academy as Bromley’s top‑performing school, which scored the joint‑highest percentage of pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics at 92 per cent, well above the national average.

La Fontaine Academy scored ‘outstanding’ across all areas in its most recent Section 5 Ofsted inspection, with inspectors praising the school for its “friendly” and “inspiring” learning environment, skilled teaching staff and exemplary pupil behaviour.

The report highlighted the school’s strong focus on high‑quality learning, consistent teaching approaches and a curriculum that goes beyond the national requirements.
