Levi – whose surname has not been provided by Sussex Police – was last seen in Eastbourne at 5pm today (March 15).
The force escalated the search by appealing to the public for help finding him.
A statement published by Sussex Police at around 7.45pm today (March 15) said: “We’re searching for eight-year-old Levi, who has been missing from Eastbourne since around 5pm.
“He was last seen wearing a brown hoodie, blue shorts, and black, white and red trainers.
“He is believed to be in the Hampden Park area.
“Anyone who sees Levi or has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to call 999, quoting serial 808 of 15/03.”
At just after 8pm, Sussex Police confirmed Levi had been found.
A statement said: “Good news! Our officers have safely located eight-year-old Levi, reported missing from Eastbourne earlier this evening.
“Thank you for your concerns.”
