Mr T’s, with 12 existing spots in cities such as Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, has submitted a planning permission to take over an empty unit at 148 Nelson Street in Tradeston.

Applicant Hassan Shabir has submitted the documents for a full refurbishment of the site, previously home to Sholeh, a family-run Persian restaurant.

The eatery sells burgers, toasts, wraps, pizzas and more.

Glasgow City Council‘s planning officials are considering the plan and a decision is expected by Friday, April 10.
