Aaron Robinson, armed with a metal pole, broke into and stole items from a van on December 2 last year.
At the time of that offence the 35-year-old was already wanted, having been released on bail from Bromley Magistrates’ Court for a theft from Tesco in August and for carrying a razor blade in public the following month.
Robinson, from West Norwood, pleaded guilty to theft from a van, going equipped for theft, criminal damage to the van and theft from a shop.
He was found guilty of possessing a blade.
At Bromley Magistrates’ Court on February 23 he was jailed for seven months.
Robinson has a history of similar offending, having previously been jailed for thefts from shops and restaurants in Beckenham.
