Coastguard and air ambulance helicopters landed at Devil’s Dyke this afternoon following an incident involving a paraglider.

A spokeswoman for HM Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard was tasked to an incident involving a paraglider near Devil’s Dyke today, 14 February, at around 1:45pm. A Coastguard helicopter attended on scene and transferred the individual to the Ambulance Service.”

A spokeswoman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) confirmed that an adult male was transported by land ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital with leg injuries following a “paragliding accident”.
