Friends of Bromley Palace Park have suggested that it was selected as a filming location just before Christmas for parts of a new film directed by Danny Boyle.
The film, Ink, is set to tell the story of media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his 1969 acquisition of The Sun newspaper.
Inspired by the stage play of the same name, it explores the early days of Murdoch’s influence in British media.

A spokesperson for The Friends of Bromley Palace Park said: “ The park’s historic setting and natural beauty continue to make it a sought-after filming location, and we’re thrilled to see it featured on the big screen once again.

The park, located in the heart of Bromley town centre, is a historic green space with a mix of landscaped gardens, mature trees, and open lawns.
It surrounds the 15th‑century Bromley Palace, a former bishop’s residence, and is home to a variety of wildlife and recreational areas.
