Three motorists were found to be driving without insurance yesterday in Co Armagh
PSNI have urged the public to be safe when driving and ensure they have all of the necessary requirements in place before getting behind the wheel. This comes after three motorists were detected to be driving without insurance yesterday, (Saturday) which led to two vehicles being seized by police in Co Armagh.
These incidents were the result of Operation Road Safe which saw local policing response officers from Armagh conducting patrols in the Keady, Markethill, Armagh and Portadown areas.
Three motorists were detected to be driving without insurance and two drivers had their cars seized. Another motorist was issued with a fixed penalty notice for no insurance and police said the trio will have their day in Court.

A police spokesman said: “You may have seen us around the Bridge Street area of Portadown, we seized one vehicle involved in crime and our enquiries are ongoing. A further motorist was detected to be in possession of a class B controlled drug whilst another driver decided learner plates were optional, as was driving unaccompanied. Both were dealt with by fixed penalty notices. Please stay safe on the roads.”
