A dual carriageway has been blocked following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Motorists have been delayed on the A2 between Canterbury and Faversham following the incident this evening.
Traffic reporting service Inrix has reported the Londonbound direction is “blocked due to a police incident”.
An eyewitness told KentOnline the issue appears to be a crash involving several cars close to the Gate Services, near Boughton-under-Blean.
They said ambulances were trying to get through the traffic to the scene.
Queues are tailing back to the Harbledown junction at Canterbury and along the A2, according to Traffic England.
The emergency services have been contacted for further details.
