New Hythe Town boss Andy Drury suffered late heartache in his first game in charge.
Premier Division bottom side Hythe lost 1-0 at Hollands & Blair on Saturday after an injury-time winner by Callum Flynn.
Hythe played the last 12 minutes with 10 men after Will Dempsey was sent off.
Drury made four changes from the side beaten 7-2 at Snodland seven days earlier with Finlay Whitton, Callum Frith, Olu Oluwatimilehin and Uko Oji all making their first starts.
Hythe are nine points from safety after Chislehurst Glebe’s impressive 4-1 win at Bearsted.
Nathan Mampono and Yanick Kissi scored at either end of the first half to put Glebe in control.
Jake Embery looked to have started the comeback straight after half-time but Ryan Kelly made it 3-1 and Jamie Philpott added a fourth in stoppage time.
All the goals came in the second half as Snodland won 4-1 at Holmesdale thanks to Matt Self, Charlie Sheringham’s penalty, Emmanuel Shoderu and an own goal.
Punjab United are up to sixth after coming from behind to win 4-1 at Erith & Belvedere, who led in the first half through Casey Dudley.
Wayne Bushell and George Monger scored in the space of three second-half minutes with Jack Hopkins and Chris Edwards wrapping up the points.
Phoenix Sports drew 1-1 at home to Sutton Athletic after Jamarie Brissett cancelled out Joshua Williams’ opener for the visitors.

Whitstable Town advanced to the last four of the Kent Senior Trophy with a 5-1 home win over Fisher.
After Michael Sarpong put Fisher ahead, Ronald Sithole equalised after rejoining the club in midweek.
Javaun Splatt put Whitstable ahead before half-time with a second-half hat-trick from Bradley Schafer sealing their progress.
Whitstable will host Rusthall in the semi-finals on February 21 with Punjab United at home to FC Elmstead.
