Michael Watson was last seen in the Craig Avenue area of Alexandria at around 12.50pm on January 23.
The 57-year-old is described as being 5ft 5in tall with short grey hair and glasses.
He has a walking stick and was wearing a medical support boot on his left foot.
Michael was last seen wearing a green and white striped polo shirt and dark trousers and may also have a black jumper with him.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for Michael’s welfare as his behaviour is “out of character”.
Inspector Kirsty Moore said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Michael’s welfare as this behaviour is out of character for him.
“Anyone who’s seen Michael, or knows where he is, is asked to please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1536 of Friday, January 23.”
