ScotRail has announced that the emergency services are in attendance at an incident between Coatbridge Central and Greenfaulds.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown.
Trains on the route, as well as services between Motherwell and Cumbernauld are subject to disruption including delay or cancellation.
Taking to X, ScotRail wrote: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Coatbridge Central and Greenfaulds, trains on this route are currently subject to disruption.
“Services between Motherwell and Cumbernauld may be delayed, revised, or cancelled.”

Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
