Premier Division leaders Whitstable Town extended their lead to eight points.

With only the three matches played on artificial pitches beating the cold weather in the top flight, Whitstable took full advantage to defeat Sutton Athletic 4-0 at The Belmont.

Another bumper crowd of 1,110 saw Whitstable gain revenge on Sutton, who beat them in the reverse fixture in August.

Nathan Jeche put Whitstable ahead on 10 minutes and Bradley Schafer added a second just before the hour mark.

Javaun Splatt made it 3-0 and then scored his second in added time to wrap up a comprehensive win.

Ryan Philpott’s stoppage-time penalty ensured Kennington a 1-1 draw at home to 10-man Fisher.

Tom Jones gave Fisher a 29th-minute lead but the visitors were reduced to 10 men early in the second half when Tyron Mbuenimo received his marching orders.

Fisher nearly held out but Philpott struck four minutes into added time with his first goal since October to claim a share of the spoils.

Chislehurst Glebe moved five points clear of the bottom two with their first win in four games, 2-1 at home to Corinthian.

Young keeper Fletcher Hegarty was caught out by Jeferson Bento’s deep cross as Glebe went ahead after 16 minutes and only the crossbar denied Khavarn Williams a second before half-time.

Glebe doubled their lead on the hour when Mitchell Chapman’s long ball out of defence found Williams on the left and he had plenty still to do before his effort deflected past Hegarty.

Corinthian, who have now gone six league games without a win, scored what was only a consolation goal when Jamie Billings headed in deep into stoppage time.

In Division 1, SE Dons went top with a 6-1 home win over Lydd at Maidstone Road with Aaron Watson scoring a brace.

The goals flowed at Holm Park as Sheppey Sports beat bottom side Chessington & Hook 8-4.

Jahmal Hector-Ingram scored four first-half goals as the hosts led 4-1 at the break.

The only other game saw FC Elmstead win 3-0 at Bridon Ropes with all the goals coming in the second half.
