The body of a woman has been recovered
Officers searching for a missing woman from Ashford have recovered a body.
Kent Police was called to Samphire Hoe Country Park, Dover, at 4pm on Tuesday December, 16.
Officers attended along with HM Coastguard and the body of a woman was recovered.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, however, the family of a 55 year old woman from Ashford reported missing on Thursday, December 11, have been notified.
Kent Police had issued several appeals to find Catherine Rishworth since she went missing, including asking for dashcam footage.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report is being prepared for the coroner
