The inner lane on the city bound side of Ormeau Road near the Annadale Avenue junction is reportedly obstructed, which is causing ongoing traffic issues in the area.
According to reports from Traffic Watch, the incident is passable with caution. However, users should slow down on approach and be prepared to stop and giveaway until it is cleared.
If you are planning to travel through this area in the near future, it may be beneficial to seek alternate routes.
Traffic is also currently busy on the M2 near the Nelson Street off slip.
The Foyle bridge in Derry is listed as currently closed to high sided vehicles due to strong winds. Drivers of such vehicles should follow diversionary routes.
Update: at around 3.45pm it was announced that the Ormeau road is now fully operational.
