The 61306 Mayflower stopped at Chichester, Barnham, Worthing, Shoreham,  Hove, Preston Park, Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath and Three Bridges yesterday, December 12.

The locomotive made its way to Bath Christmas Market, starting from Three Bridges at 8am and picking up passengers in Sussex, Hedge End, Salisbury and Westbury before it was scheduled to arrive in Bath at 1.05pm. 

It then made its return journey on the same route, scheduled to depart Bath Spa at 3.55pm and arrive at Three Bridges at 9.13pm.

On Saturday morning, December 13, the Bath and Bristol Christmas Express departed from Three Bridges station and picked up passengers at Haywards Heath, Preston Park, Hove and Worthing.

It is due to arrive at Bath Spa at 1.59pm before making its way to Bristol Temple Meads, scheduled to arrive at 2.20pm. 

It will then make its return journey, leaving Bristol Temple Meads at 5.17pm, scheduled to call at Worthing at 10.16pm, Hove at 10.39pm, Preston Park at 10.46pm, Haywards Heath at 11.04pm and Three Bridges at 11.21pm.

The train is being hauled by “an immaculately restored steam locomotive, No. 34048 Eddystone”, The Railway Touring Company said. 

Father Christmas and his elves are also set to visit the train during the day and hand out presents to children on board.
