He spent time on loan at National South side Aveley and had previously played for Chats after joining them on loan in December 2023.
The Gills released the defender following the expiry of his contract at the end of the 2024/25 season and has now joined Isthmian Premier Division side Chatham.
Following his signing, he told Chats: “I can’t wait to get started and back to the feeling of fighting for three points every week and doing well for the club.
“When I played here in my short (loan) spell the fans were amazing and the numbers that this club generates through the door is brilliant.
“Their support really helps the team and hopefully this season, now I am here for the full season, the same fans, if not more, will be here to support us.”
When asked about his hopes for the new season, he said: “Both Kev (Hake, the manager) and (head coach) Tim (Moffatt) are very strong on the feeling of getting promotion and even winning the league, which I think this clubs need to do and could have done it when I was here (before).
“I want to be a part of that, to get a promotion or winning the league. I can’t wait, we’ve got some great (pre-season) fixtures that will prepare us for next season and I’m buzzing for it.”
