Last month club members were given the brief of “structures” for April’s competition.

Once again, we were thoroughly impressed by the range of entries, from beach huts along the coast to the exterior of some of Sussex’s most loved landmarks.

Tom Shakespeare captured an amazing aerial view of Brighton’s Palace Pier, which we chose as April’s winner and will receive a £50 prize.

Wisteria at Nymans (Image: Janet Levett) Other notable entries included Tyrone Campbell’s fantastic shot of Rottingdean windmill and wisteria climbing up the wall at Nymans, taken by Janet Levett.

May’s theme is “faces”. Post your entry on The Argus Camera Club Facebook page, mentioning where it was taken. Anyone can join the group via the Facebook page.

It is one entry per person and the deadline is midnight on March 31.

As always, the winner will receive a £50 prize. Good luck.
