CCTV has been released by police investigating a burglary.

It comes after Broadditch Farm Shop in New Barn Road, Southfleet, near Dartford was broken into on Tuesday, April 22.

Money was stolen from a till and charity pots were taken.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and initial enquiries were carried out.

“A CCTV image has been published of a man who may be able to assist the investigation.”

Previously, John Harris, who runs the farm shop, said he was “gutted” after the break-in.

Footage captured by the store showed it happened at around 10.40pm.

The till was emptied, an ellenor hospice charity pot was swiped and loose coins were put into a white plastic bag.

Mr Harris said a new alarm system would be installed to prevent a similar incident from happening again

It was the first time the store had experienced a break-in during its 35 years of trading.
