The Coffee Counter has relocated from Coatbridge Sunnyside train station to nearby Sunnyside Road. 

Announcing the move on social media, bosses at the much-loved coffee shop said they were “beyond excited” to welcome customers to the new unit at 109a Sunnyside Road. 

They say it comes after a ‘challenging few months’.

A statement posted to The Coffee Counter’s Instagram page reads: “Well, it might just be the worst-kept secret in town.

“After the most challenging few months since we first began, we’re finally ready to say it. When one window closes, another door opens.

“Fresh space, same great coffee, and an even better experience. Thank you for sticking with us. 

“We can’t wait to show you around.”

Customers shared their excitement at the news in the comments.

One person said: “Aw, fab, I love this. My favourite girls. We will be there after school for our usual hot chocolates.”
