250 cannabis plants have been seized after police raided a property near a high street.
The force attended the address in Maison Dieu Place, Dover on Wednesday afternoon following information received from the community.
Acting on intelligence received through the My Community Voice platform, beat officers uncovered around 250 cannabis plants, which have been seized as part of an ongoing investigation.
Sergeant Gavin Rolfe said: “We take all information we receive from the local community seriously and, on this occasion, it has resulted in a sophisticated cannabis cultivation being dismantled, disrupting the work of organised crime.
“I urge anyone who has suspicions that drugs may be being produced or sold in their area to contact us so we can take action.”
