Glasgow City Council said Balmoral Street was shut between Dumbarton Road and South Street due to an ‘incident’.
The local authority also revealed Earl Street between Earl Place and Balmoral Street was closed as well.

Now, officers have said they were called to a report of windows being broken at a property on Earl Street.
Cops revealed no one was injured during the incident and there is no risk to the wider public.
An investigation is underway.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.45pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025, we were called to a report of windows being broken at a property in the Earl Street area of Glasgow.
“There were no reported injuries or risk to the wider public.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
