Millie, 14, whose surname Sussex Police did not provide, has been deemed to be missing from Worthing.
Police have said that she is 5 foot 7 inches and wears thick black rimmed glasses.
They said that Millie may be with a 20-year-old man who is known to her, and that she may have travelled to the Croydon area.
A spokesman said: “Dial 999 if you see her, quoting serial 229 of 15/02.”
