The band, which was with Amy Winehouse from her early days in London pubs to the Grammy Awards and the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage, has announced a UK tour.

The tour will take place in November and December, with the band performing at The De La Warr Pavilion show will be on December 18.

The band will perform songs from Winehouse’s career, including hits such as ‘Rehab’, ‘Back to Black’, ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’, ‘Valerie’, and ‘Love Is A Losing Game’.

Dale Davis, Amy’s long-term musical director and bass player, said: “Myself and Amy’s band are so excited to be touring the UK celebrating her music and legacy with you all but this time in the company of some of the country’s greatest symphony orchestras.

“It’s going to be very special to perform her songs including these new stunning orchestral arrangements.

“The orchestral sound was used on Amy’s recordings but we didn’t ever have the chance to play them this way with her.

“It will be lovely to do that now.”

The band is fronted by vocalist Bronte Shandé, who Dale discovered in a similar way to how he originally came across Amy.

The show will also feature on-screen visuals and unique footage.

The Amy Winehouse Band has played select shows around the UK previously, as well as touring across Europe and performing at festivals since 2022.

On performing her music again, the band told The Times: “We’re enjoying the music afresh and seeing it played for new ears and old ears.”

Audiences have told them: “This is the closest we can get to seeing Amy.”

The tour will culminate in a performance at the Roundhouse in Camden, where Amy made her last public performance in 2011.

Tickets for the De La Warr Pavilion show are on sale now.
