Tell us about Workspace 365
Workspace 365 has a very clear mission; to simplify the digital workplace so that employees can unlock their work focus. We believe productivity and efficiency is being severely hampered due to unnecessarily complex IT tools and infrastructure.
This is of critical concern given the UK’s productivity growth has lagged behind many other countries for the last decade and a half (according to The Productivity Institute’s Regional Productivity Agenda), yet is key to the government’s plans for growth.
Workspace 365 aims to address these challenges with a digital workplace that removes complexity, enables collaboration and empowers employees to work as productively and efficiently as possible.
How did you come up with the idea for the company, and what do you think makes Workspace 365 unique?
In the early days of 2010, we identified a gap in the market for an integrated solution that simplified access to everything online, from files and folders to applications employees use daily . This realisation led us to develop Workspace 365, an adaptive workplace that automatically adjusts to individual needs, combining information from third-party applications to offer insights and access in a single place.
What is your advice to aspiring entrepreneurs?
Hire the best people and allow them to surprise you rather than telling them what to do. I have learned so much by getting out of the way and letting others flourish. Encouraging employees to believe in themselves and building self confidence is the best present you can give to any member of staff. And remember, employees build your business from the ground up so be supportive and empowering!
What most excites you about Workspace 365?
The opportunity to make a significant difference every day excites me! Each day presents a new chance to enhance how employees interact with their digital tools, making their work lives more efficient and enjoyable. I’m also excited by the continued growth of Workspace 365; we’re trusted by more than 2,300 organisations to help employees achieve their ultimate work focus, illustrating the impact we are having on businesses around the world.
How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
Over the past few years, Workspace 365 has expanded its presence beyond the Netherlands, establishing its first UK base in Manchester in 2022. This expansion reflects our commitment to bringing adaptive digital workplaces to a broader audience, continually innovating to meet the evolving needs of modern workplaces.
More recently, we announced a strategic new partnership with a global confederation of founder-led software companies, Aries Global, which signifies our intention to accelerate international growth.
What can we hope to see from Workspace 365 in the future?
Looking ahead, we aim to further enhance our platform’s adaptability, leveraging an ecosystem of integrations to make Workspace 365 the one and only interface employees need to do their job.
Our goal is to stay at the forefront of digital workplace innovation, ensuring employees have the tools they need to thrive in an ever-changing work environment.
