Officers responded to reports of ‘dangerous’ driving in Victoria Drive, Bognor at 9.10pm on January 20.
The police were alerted to the vehicle, a grey Kia Sportage, which then commenced a short pursuit through the town.
The Kia Sportage passed through Victoria Drive, the Squareabout, the High Street and London Road.

According to officers the driver struck street furniture and drove into oncoming traffic.
They reported that the driving was so dangerous that officers were not able to continue the pursuit.
The vehicle was then found abandoned in Stocker Road.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers from Arun Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for anyone in the area with dashcam, CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage of the driver or the Kia Sportage to come forward.
“Information can be reported to Sussex Police online, quoting serial 1181 of 20/01.”
