The fearless feline was first spotted high up a tree in Pollok at around 8am this morning (January 29) at the corner of Braidcraft Road and Langton Road.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were made aware of a cat in difficulty shortly before 2.30pm.

Its understood one appliance was sent to the scene and crews ensured the chat was not trapped in the tree before leaving at around 3pm.
An eyewitness says the cat, whose name is not currently known, moved further up the tree when the fire brigade attended.
However, around 5pm a local roofer named Joe, who was working in a neighbouring street, climbed up and rescued the pet.
A post shared on the Crookston and Pollok Community Group on Facebook said the cat is being taken to the vet to be checked over after their ordeal.
