The work will affect trains from Monday (January 6) and Friday (January 10).

We have compiled all the details on these works so that you can plan your journey this week.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday (January 6 to January 9):

The 11.50pm train from London St Pancras International to Faversham train will be replaced by buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Higham, Newington and Teynham.

From approximately 11pm until the end of service, engineering work will affect trains towards Hayes:

The 10.48pm and 11.18pm train from London Charing Cross to Hayes trains will be diverted after New Beckenham to run to Bromley South calling at Beckenham Junction.

After 11.30pm, no further trains will run from London to stations on the Hayes line, and the last train between London Charing Cross, London Cannon Street and Hayes will only run as far as Lewisham.

From 9.05pm until the end of service, replacement buses will run between Beckenham Junction and Hayes.

The last bus will start back from Lewisham at 12.30am.

Trains from Hayes towards Lewisham and London are not affected

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (January 7, January 9 and January 10):

From 12.20am until the end of service, replacement buses will run between Meopham and Sittingbourne and Gillingham.

A connecting train will run from Sittingbourne to Ramsgate.

Tuesday (January 8) only:

The weekly engineering work that usually takes place every Tuesday night between Faversham, Margate and Ramsgate will not take place and trains will run normally between these stations.

Tuesday to Friday (January 7 to January 10):

The 4.17am train from Gillingham to Tonbridge service will start from Strood at 4.30am.

A replacement bus will leave Gillingham at 3.55am calling at all stations to Strood.

Wednesday only (January 8):

From 12.30am until the end of service, replacement buses will run between Rochester and Gillingham and Sittingbourne.

A connecting train will run between Sittingbourne and Ramsgate.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (January 8, January 9, and January 10):

From 12.10am until the end of service, replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath.

Trains will be diverted to run via Sidcup instead.

Wednesday and Thursday (January 8 and January 9):

The 11.07pm train from London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory service will be diverted between Dover Priory and Ramsgate via an alternative route and will stop additionally at Faversham.

A replacement bus will run between Dover Priory and Sandwich calling at all stations.
