Bosses at Crabshack in Marine Parade, Worthing, made the decision after the restaurant’s tent which covers outdoor seating was damaged.
The business posted online: “We are so sorry but unfortunately we have had a bit of a disaster, the tent has been damaged, therefore we have made a decision in the interest of safety, not to open today.
“Phil is calling all of you that have a reservation today, once again our sincerest apologies.”
