Car in water near Eastbourne attended by emergency services

Pictures show a car in a body of water next to the A259 Friston Hill near Eastbourne.

Tape appears to have been fixed to the vehicle as well as a notice that police are aware. 

Police and the fire service were reported to be at the scene (Image: Sussex News and Pictures) Sussex Police reported that there were no injuries as a result of the incident and no arrests made. 

East Sussex Fire and Rescue, who were reported to be at the scene, have also been contacted for comment.
