Coldplay donated the skin from its Music Of The Spheres world tour to Brighton-based charity Justlife.

Used during a 2024 Lyon show at the Groupama Stadium, the drum skin is signed by Coldplay members Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion, with an additional doodle from drummer and percussionist Champion.

The drum skin has been gifted to the charity to help raise funds as part of the annual Big Give Christmas Challenge, a fundraising effort in which, between December 3 and 10, all donations are doubled by Big Give.

Justlife is a national charity which advocates for people who are hidden homeless and living in temporary accommodation.

The drum skin is currently listed on eBay, with a starting bid of £500. The auction is scheduled to run until 6pm on November 30 and all proceeds from the sale will be doubled by Big Give.

Naomi Bedford, activities coordinator at Justlife, said: “We are so grateful to the band for donating a signed drum skin too support our fundraising efforts.

“This is an amazing opportunity for Coldplay fans to get a piece of memorabilia.

“All funds raised will help keep our services running during a time of unprecedented demand.”
