Officers were called to an address in Storrington Close, Hove, just after 9pm last night following concerns for the welfare of a man in his 50s.
Despite the best efforts of police, who commenced CPR, the man was pronounced dead.
His next of kin have been informed.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “There are no suspicious circumstances and this will now be a coronial matter.”
